The Coppa Italia A2-A3 is a domestic volleyball cup competition in Italy that brings together second-tier (Serie A2) and third-tier (Serie A3) clubs. Organised by the Lega Pallavolo Serie A (LegaVolley) under the Italian Volleyball Federation (FIPAV), the tournament was restructured into its current form following a brief period of merger between 2019 and 2021.
The competition operates on a knockout basis, featuring Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and a Final. Matches are played as single-leg ties at the home venue of the higher-ranked team. This format is designed to streamline the schedule and reduce travel costs for the participating clubs. Historically, the A2 division has its own distinct history, with the competition being founded in 1997, while the A3 cup was established later in 2022.
Unlike the top-tier Coppa Italia SuperLega, the winners of the A2 and A3 cups do not receive automatic promotion to the higher division. The primary distinction between these cups and the SuperLega cup is the tier of participation and the lack of promotional stakes. The A2 and A3 cups serve as prestigious domestic trophies for lower-tier clubs.
In the men's A2 competition, Atlantide Brescia has claimed multiple titles, including victories in 2019–20, 2023–24, and 2024–25. Callipo Sport (Vibo Valentia) remains the all-time record holder with four titles, while Olimpia Bergamo holds three. For the A3 division, SportSpecialist Belluno won the 2024–2025 edition and retained the title in 2025–2026, defeating Tricolore in the final.
The tournament currently features clubs such as Porto Viro, Efficienza Energia Galatina, Brescia, Ortona, Reggio Emilia, and Taranto. While the SuperLega cup offers significant prestige, the A2-A3 competition provides a focused platform for emerging talent within the Italian volleyball structure.
