Hødd secured a narrow 4-3 victory over Strømmen in the First Division Regular Season on Saturday. The result keeps the hosts fifth in the table while leaving Strømmen in 13th place after 18 matches.
Haheim-Elveseter opened the scoring in the 18th minute before Mikkelsen levelled three minutes later. Paulsen restored Hødd's lead in the 32nd minute, and Haheim-Elveseter doubled his tally just before half-time to set up an entertaining second half.
Strømmen fought back in the 66th minute when Skotheim pulled one back, but Rogne responded for Hødd in the 85th minute. Hristov then scored in the 90th minute to keep Strømmen alive until the final whistle.
Hødd dominated possession at 63 per cent and registered 121 attacks compared to Strømmen's 94. The hosts had 15 shots in total while the visitors managed nine, though only seven of those were on target.
Five yellow cards were shown during the match, with Hødd receiving two and Strømmen three. Both sides made multiple substitutions as the game progressed.
Hødd move to 33 points from 20 games with 10 wins, three draws and seven defeats. Strømmen remain on 21 points from their 20 matches, having won six, drawn three and lost 11.
