A. Deryugin

Aleksandr Deryugin has already been through a loan and a return. He came up through the Football Academy of Krasnodar Krai before joining PFC Sochi in February 2022, and it was with Sochi's youth side that he made his name — more than 50 appearances and 11 goals in the Youth League across two seasons. He made his senior debut for the club in August 2023, starting a Russian Cup tie against Orenburg.

The following January he moved on loan to Dynamo Vologda in the Second League B, where he played 15 matches and scored once, but the arrangement was cut short in July 2024 by mutual agreement between the two clubs. Within days he had signed for KAMAZ on a contract running to 2027. The move gave him a regular platform: 21 First League appearances and two goals in his first season at the club, followed by 26 more in the league and four in the Russian Cup this campaign.

Deryugin plays in central or defensive midfield and operates right-footed. He names Frenkie de Jong, Pedri and Gavi as the players he has modelled his game on. Away from the pitch, he studies at a sports university in Krasnodar with coaching qualifications in mind, having left school with a gold medal.
