Adam Dźwigała

Adam Dźwigała was still a teenager at Jagiellonia Białystok when, on 3 March 2013, he scored against Górnik Zabrze and became the youngest goalscorer in the club's history. The Warsaw-born defender had joined Jagiellonia's academy the previous year after starting out at Mazur Karczew.

Lechia Gdańsk signed him in June 2014 for a fee of around €250,000, though the following years were shaped as much by loans as by his time in Gdańsk itself: a season at Górnik Zabrze in 2015/16, then a spell at Górnik Łęczna from 2016 to 2017 in which he scored twice in 12 appearances. From Lechia he moved on to Wisła Płock, where he played until 2019, before taking his career abroad with Portugal's CD Aves. That move ended prematurely in late 2020, when he terminated his contract as the club ran into financial difficulties.

He joined FC St. Pauli as a free agent in December 2020 and has since become one of the regulars of the side, passing 100 appearances for the club. The high point came in the 2023–24 season, when St. Pauli won the 2. Bundesliga title and secured the club's first-ever promotion to the Bundesliga, with Dźwigała a regular starter throughout the campaign.

On the international stage, he was called up to the senior Poland squad in August 2018 for fixtures against Italy and Ireland, though he did not add a debut cap on that occasion.
