Evgeni Voronin

Evgeni Voronin was born in Moscow and came up through the Khimki academy before moving into Lokomotiv Moscow's youth system, where he made five appearances for the club's second side in the Youth League. His senior career began at Vityaz Podolsk, where he stayed for two years and made 54 league appearances, then continued at Volga Ulyanovsk, adding a further 45 league matches.

Voronin joined KAMAZ Naberezhnye Chelny in September 2019 and made his debut in the First League, going on to make 62 league appearances during that spell before leaving in 2021. A brief move to Yenisey Krasnoyarsk followed in 2022, limited to seven league matches, before he returned to Volga Ulyanovsk the same year. That second stint at Volga proved his longest single spell as a senior player, running until 2026 and yielding 114 league appearances.

In July 2026, Voronin went back to KAMAZ Naberezhnye Chelny on a contract until the end of June 2027, wearing the number 37 shirt. He has been a regular starter in the club's opening matches of the 2026/2027 First League season, including the fixture against Leningradets on 29 August and against Ural on 6 September, when he played 71 minutes. He plays predominantly on the right wing and favours his right foot. Voronin has not been capped by the senior Russian national team, and is not related to the better-known Russia international Andrei Voronin.
