About the player
Felix Klaus returned to SpVgg Greuther Fürth in January 2025, more than a decade after leaving the club for Freiburg. He joined Greuther Fürth's academy in 2010. He was voted the club's Player of the Season for 2010–11. On 31 August 2012, he scored Fürth's first-ever Bundesliga goal, in a 1–0 win over 1. FSV Mainz 05.
That goal preceded a move to SC Freiburg in 2013, where he made 52 Bundesliga appearances and scored seven goals. In 2015 he signed for Hannover 96, where he went through both relegation and promotion across 76 matches and 11 goals. In 2018 he used a release clause to join VfL Wolfsburg.
At international level, Klaus was capped four times by Germany's U21 side between 2014 and 2015, including appearances at the 2015 UEFA European Under-21 Championship against Serbia and Denmark. Bundesliga clubs.
