About the player
Jannik Dehm joined SpVgg Greuther Fürth in the summer of 2025 on a free transfer after his spell at Hannover 96 came to an end. The move brought the right-footed defender back into the second tier of German football.
Dehm's path to professional football began at FC Germania Untergrombach and FC Germania Friedrichstal before he joined the Karlsruher SC academy. He worked his way up through Karlsruher SC II and into the first team, where a single 2. Bundesliga appearance in 2015 marked his senior debut. He moved to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim's reserve side, where he spent three seasons developing further before a free transfer to Holstein Kiel in June 2018 gave him a regular platform. Over three years on the Baltic coast he made 71 appearances and scored twice.
Dehm has yet to add a major trophy or individual award to his career, and his experience with the German national setup has stayed at youth level, with 4 caps for the U18 side in 2013–2014 followed by 4 more for the U19s in 2014–2015.
At Fürth, Dehm wears the number 23 shirt and continues his career as a defender.
