About the player
Bregante Torres came through the youth academy at Liverpool FC de Montevideo and made his senior debut in September 2022, coming on in a Copa Uruguay match against Montevideo Wanderers that Liverpool won 4–0. He stayed with the club's first team through the following seasons, featuring in the Uruguayan Primera División, the Copa Uruguay and, in 2024, the Copa Libertadores, where Liverpool were drawn in a group alongside Palmeiras and San Lorenzo. His appearances in that competition came off the bench, including a substitution against Palmeiras in April 2024.
He left Liverpool on loan in January 2026, moving to Cerro for the season. A left-back who plays with his left foot, he now wears the number 6 shirt at his new club.
