About the player
Jáchym Šerák came through the youth ranks at Motorlet Praha, Dukla Praha, Sparta Praha and Bohemians 1905 before finishing his junior years at FK Meteor Praha. His senior career began at Mladá Boleslav B in 2020, with a loan spell at Varnsdorf in the Czech National Football League that brought a single appearance before he returned to Boleslav in December 2022.
A free transfer took him to MFK Chrudim in the summer of 2023, and it was there that Šerák established himself as a regular first-choice goalkeeper. In the 2024/25 season he made 28 appearances in the Chance Národní Liga and kept 11 clean sheets, the second-best tally in the division, as Chrudim finished runners-up and secured a place in the promotion play-offs.
That form earned him a move to FK Pardubice on a free transfer on 1 July 2025, a switch he described as a "life dream." He made 14 appearances for Pardubice in the Chance Liga during the 2025/26 season before being sent back to Chrudim on loan on 21 January 2026 for the rest of the campaign, returning to Pardubice that June.
Šerák plays with his right foot and has yet to add a senior cap for the Czech Republic to his record.
