About the player
She joined Athletic's youth system in 2019 and spent three seasons with Athletic Club B, making 71 appearances and scoring 16 goals in the Segunda División Femenina before the step up.
Her first-team debut came on 6 June 2021, when she came on as a substitute against Levante UD in Liga F. Since then she has become a regular presence in midfield, and as of December 2025 has made 88 appearances and scored 15 goals for the senior side. In February 2023, Athletic rewarded that progress with a contract extension through June 2026.
International success arrived early. Pinedo was part of the Spain squad that won the 2022 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship in the Czech Republic, scoring in the finals, and later that year helped Spain lift the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Costa Rica, coming off the bench three times as the team beat Japan 3-1 in the final. She stepped up again in 2023 with her debut for the Spain Under-23 side.
With Athletic, she featured prominently as the club reached the semi-finals of the 2023-24 Copa de la Reina, a run that ended against FC Barcelona .
