Kauan Rodrigues

Kauan Rodrigues came through the academy at Goiás, joining as a teenager in 2017 and working his way to a senior debut in 2022. His run in the Campeonato Goiano the following year, seven appearances and two goals, was enough to convince Fortaleza to move for him, agreeing a fee of R$ 2.4 million for 90% of his economic rights while Goiás kept a 10% stake.

At Fortaleza he settled into a squad role, making 11 senior appearances and scoring once, and was part of the group that won the Copa do Nordeste in 2024. In February 2025 he went out on loan to Atlético Goianiense for the rest of the season, a spell in which he found regular football, playing 35 times and scoring three goals.

Rodrigues has also had a taste of international football with Brazil, representing his country at youth level and winning the South American U-20 Championship in 2025.

In January 2026 he joined Athletic Club on loan, and has made seven appearances in Série B since arriving, with the loan fee undisclosed.
