About the player
Gonstad grew up playing for Skreia IL before moving into HamKam's academy in 2021, where he signed his first professional contract at the age of 14. He worked his way through the reserve side, HamKam 2, over four seasons, scoring 40 goals in 51 appearances, including a hat-trick against Raufoss 2 in October 2023. By the time he left the club he had made 38 appearances and scored four goals for the first team.
At Eidsvold Turn in 2024 he scored three goals in ten games, and at Raufoss in 2025 he scored five in five appearances, including a decisive goal against Odd. In August 2026 he moved on to KFUM-Kameratene Oslo for a fee of €0.5 million, making his first appearance for the club that same month.
Gonstad has been a regular fixture in Norway's youth setup, collecting 41 caps and ten goals across those age groups. He was part of the Norway under-19 squad for both the 2024 and 2025 UEFA European Under-19 Championships, though he has yet to add a senior cap for the national team.
