About the player
Mathias Knutsen Rasmussen came through Lyngdal IL before moving to IK Start. A move to SK Brann followed in 2020, where he added a further 75 appearances before Union Saint-Gilloise paid €1.2 million for him in June 2023.
In January 2026 he moved on to FC St. Pauli.
He was named Norwegian First Division Player of the Year in 2022, having also picked up the division's Player of the Month award that June.
