Mehdi Boukamir

Boukamir is a product of Charleroi's academy, signing his first professional contract in February 2021 and making his senior debut for the club in October 2022. Before that step up he spent time with the reserve side, Zébra Élites, between 2022 and 2024. His contract with Charleroi runs until 2028.

In September 2024 he moved to Cyprus on loan with Pafos FC, where he made between 15 and 17 appearances and won the Cypriot First Division title in the 2024–25 season. He returned to Belgium in the summer of 2026 for a fresh loan spell, joining RAAL La Louvière for a season with an option to buy attached.

Boukamir holds dual Belgian and Moroccan nationality. He was capped nine times for Belgium's under-18s and once at under-19 level, but his representative career since has run through Morocco instead. With the Moroccan under-23s he has collected eight caps, and among them are two of the more notable honours of his career so far: the 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations and an Olympic bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Games. He has not yet been capped at senior level by either Belgium or Morocco.
