About the player
Ross Doohan came through Celtic's academy, joining the club in 2007 and turning professional in 2015. It was Tranmere who eventually made the move permanent in 2022.
He continued to move on: a January 2023 switch to Forest Green Rovers lasted only months before Aberdeen signed him that July. At Pittodrie he was part of the squad that won the 2024–25 Scottish Cup, an unused substitute in the final. In June 2025 he returned to Celtic on a free transfer, agreeing a three-year deal that brought him back to the club where his career began.
Doohan's honours also include a Toulon Tournament bronze medal, won with Scotland's under-20s in 2017. Back at Celtic, he has been part of the squad for the 2025–26 Scottish Premiership campaign.
