Shaylon Kallyson Cardozo

Cardozo came through the youth ranks at Chapecoense before moving on to São Paulo's academy, where he made his senior debut against Ponte Preta in February 2017. He stayed at the club until 2021, with loan spells along the way at Bahia and at Goiás, and picked up a Campeonato Paulista winner's medal with São Paulo in 2021 and a Campeonato Baiano title during his time at Bahia.

The move to Atlético Goianiense in January 2022 marked a significant phase in his career. He won the Campeonato Goiano in three straight years, 2022, 2023 and 2024, and in that last campaign finished as the competition's top scorer with five goals. Scoring has followed him since his youth days too: he topped the charts for São Paulo's under-20 side in the Copa do Brasil Sub-20 and later did the same for Goiás in the senior Copa do Brasil.

Cardozo has also had international recognition at youth level, representing Brazil at under-20 and under-23, with three caps for the under-23 side.

In August 2025 he left Atlético Goianiense for Mirassol, where he now wears the number 7 shirt as an attacking midfielder.
