About the player
Krasnodar paid a reported €3.2 million to make Valentin Paltsev their own in January 2026, four months after he had arrived on loan with an obligation to buy.
The club made the deal permanent in July 2023 for a nominal fee. A year later he moved on again as a free agent, to Dynamo Makhachkala, where he stayed until the switch to Krasnodar.
The national team followed the club form. Paltsev has three caps for Russia , all in friendlies: against Vietnam in September 2024, against Brunei that November, and against Nicaragua in March 2026.
The club finished as silver medallists in the Russian Premier League in 2025/26 and reached the final of the Russian Cup in the same season.
