Isian Peng

Peng Yixiang came through the youth academy at Shandong Taishan and has stayed inside the club's system throughout his career, never moving elsewhere to develop. His path to the first team ran through the club's reserve side, Shandong Taishan B, where he played in the China League Two, the third tier of Chinese football. In the 2024 season there he made 23 appearances, scoring four goals and adding an assist.

That step came in 2025, when Peng made his senior debut for Shandong Taishan in the Chinese Super League. He went on to make three appearances at that level, without scoring or assisting. He continued to turn out for the B team in parallel, adding 21 appearances, three goals and three assists in the China League Two during the same period.

At 197 cm, he is a right-footed forward who wears the number 42 shirt. He has not yet been capped by the Chinese national team at senior or youth level, and his career to date carries no major titles or individual honours. His name is close enough to that of the veteran Peng Xinli, a forward of the same surname who moved through clubs including Guangzhou Evergrande, Chongqing Lifan and Shanghai Shenhua; Peng Yixiang, born in Changsha, is a different player entirely, one whose entire career so far has unfolded within a single club.
