The Estadio Rogelio Miranda is not built for crowds: a municipal ground with an athletic track ringing the pitch and a stand of basic bleachers, the kind of field a mining town sets aside for its own team rather than for outsiders. It is where 26 de Febrero plays, and there is little mystery in why — the club exists to represent Colquiri.
The name comes from the Cooperativa Minera 26 de Febrero, formed in 1990. The football club grew out of that community, carrying its name and, by extension, its identity as a mining side rather than a city club with commercial backing.
In 2026, though, 26 de Febrero won its regional quadrangular in the La Paz phase, finishing on 11 points from three wins, two draws and a single loss. The win sent them into the tournament's national phase, where they were drawn against Hiska Nacional and Deportivo FATIC.
