Lazio Women

Lazio Women go into the 2024–25 season back in Serie A, having won last year's Serie B title outright with 79 points from 25 wins, four draws and a single defeat. Gianluca Grassadonia took the side up, and in attack the goals have fallen mostly to Martina Piemonte.

The current entity, S.S. Lazio Women 2015, only came into being in September 2015, set up by S.S. Lazio as a subsidiary after the old women's team was relegated and folded. That earlier side went back to 1969, when it started life as Olimpic Lazio before taking the Lazio name outright, and it was the one that built the club's honours board: five league titles between 1979 and 2001–02, four Coppa Italia wins between 1977 and 2003, and Carolina Morace as its all-time leading scorer. The rebuilt club started again from Serie B, reached Serie A for the first time only in 2020–21, dropped back down, and has now fought its way back up.

Derby della Capitale against Roma remains the fixture that matters most in Rome.

Home games are played at the Stadio Mirko Fersini, inside the Formello training centre, which holds 3,000.
