Lynge Women

The first Danish Championship medal in the club's history came on sand, not in a hall. In 2021 the volleyball section of Lynge-Uggeløse IF (LUI), known locally as LUI Volley, took silver in the national beach volleyball championship. No earlier result in any official competition had brought the club a national medal.

The section began in 1975, inside a sports association that had existed in Lynge and neighbouring Uggeløse since 1939. It waited only a year before starting a tournament of its own, the LUI Cup, which was still being played when it marked its 40th anniversary in 2016. An elite section followed around 1980.

Indoors, the senior women have not won a Danish Championship or the Danish Cup (Landspokal), though they enter both. Their league is the 1st Division East, the second tier of Danish women's volleyball, and they play their home fixtures at Lyngehallerne. In 2024-25 they finished sixth with eight wins and ten losses.

The youth teams supply the most recent result. The U15 girls finished seventh at the 2026 national U15 championship.
