Gentofte 2 Women

Gentofte Volley 2 Women play in the 1. Division East and enter the Landspokal Cup. They are the reserve side of a club whose first team has been Danish champion nine times, and they play in blue in Hall B of the Gentofte Sportspark on Ved Stadion.

The parent club came into being in 1992, when Gentofte Volleyballklub Roadrunners merged with Nørre Gymnasiums Volleyballklub. The combined club needed four years to win its first national title, in 1996. A second followed in 1999, then a gap of eight years until 2007. The first team's later titles came in 2015 and 2016, and then in four consecutive seasons from 2018 to 2021. Brøndby VK is the side the club measures itself against most often, though that rivalry has no name of its own.

Those titles belong to the first team. Sofia Nørager Bisgaard, born in 2002, is an outside hitter who played for the main team and represented Denmark at every level from under-16 to under-19.
