Muras United

Muras United go into this season on the back of the best run of results in their short history. They finished second in the Kyrgyz Premier League in 2025 and went out of the AFC Challenge League at the semi-final stage, having beaten Lebanon's Al-Ansar 3-0 in the quarter-final before Kuwait's Al-Kuwait ended the run.

The ground holds 7,000. Muras United play in purple at home; away, the shirts turn white but the shorts stay blue.

The league table has read fifth, third, second across the three seasons since promotion. The cup has already been won: in the 2024 final, Muras United beat Abdysh-Ata 3-2 after extra time, Ernist Batyrkanov scoring twice and Abai Bokoleev getting the decisive goal.

The bench has turned over quickly. Serhiy Puchkov was let go for his language, and Vyacheslav Levchuk followed him out of the job in the summer of 2024, after an incident involving a player. Oleksandr Poklonskyi took charge in January 2025; Serhiy Popov held the post for two months that summer.

Ukrainian names have run through the squad as well as the bench, among them Serhiy Kulynych, Oleh Marchuk and Yevhen Leshchynskyi. Chyngyz Subanov scored the club's first goal in the Premier League; Mirbek Akhmataliev was banned for five years after an incident on the training ground. President Sadyr Japarov opened the training base in person, a marker of the support standing behind the project.

Abdysh-Ata remain the name Muras United measure themselves against.
