Spartak Myjava Women

The women's section at Spartak Myjava did not grow out of the club's playing history at all — it was set up in 2009, nearly ninety years after Športový klub Myjava was founded in the town on 8 August 1920. The senior men's side carries the older story; the women's team built its own from scratch, and did so quickly. Promotion came in 2014/15, when Myjava won the second tier outright. Since then the gap to the rest of the division has closed to nothing: five straight titles in I. liga žien, from 2021/22 through 2025/26, alongside four consecutive Slovak Cups. The 2026 final was settled 3:0 against ŠK Slovan Bratislava — there is no fixed name for the meetings between them, the way there is for the men's Bratislava–Trnava derby, but the press treats each one as the match that decides the title.

Katarína Vredíková has been part of that run since 2019, collecting the championships and cup wins as they came. Iveta Neveďalová returned the same year from Brno in the Czech Republic and now combines playing with coaching duties, a dual role inside a squad that has stayed largely settled through its title-winning years.

Myjava plays in black and white stripes, white shorts and black socks — the same scheme the men's side has carried since 1920 — and shares its crest with the men's team. Matches are played at Štadión Myjava, which holds 2,709, in a town whose football identity now runs through both a men's club with a century of history and a women's side that, in barely more than a decade, made itself the team to beat.
