That club traced back to 'Volleyball-Primorye', a beach volleyball outfit founded in 2007, before switching to the indoor game in 2010. Primorochka built a decade of results around players such as Kiseleva, Yulia Gilmanova and Svetlana Chesnokova, taking silver in the Higher League 'A' in 2016/17 and 2017/18 and gold in the Higher League 'B' back in 2012/13. Its matches against VK Sakhalin, from across the strait in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, were billed as the Far Eastern Derby.

In August 2023 the club was disbanded, and VVK Dynamo Vladivostok took its place. The switch brought new colours, white and blue, and the nickname the White-Blues, along with a home at the Olimpiets Sports Complex, which holds 1,100 spectators.

Dynamo took silver in the Cup of Siberia and the Far East in its first year and silver again in the Higher League 'B' in 2023/24, a result that carried the team up into the Higher League 'A'.

Life in the higher division has settled into a pattern of fourth-place finishes, in 2024/25 and again in 2025/26.
