Zabaikalka Chita Women
Club · Russia · Cup of Siberia and Far East Women
«Zabaikalki»
It became Burevestnik in 1961, then Zabaikalka in 1984.
The club took its current legal shape in 1991, under the patronage of Zabaikalzoloto and the Chita State Pedagogical Institute, and was registered as a regional sports organisation in 1998. In November 2025 it added Dynamo to its name and moved out of the Olympiets sports complex, where it had played for years, into the newly opened Physical Culture and Sports Complex "Dynamo" on Leningradskaya Street.
Regionally the record reads differently — four titles in the Cup of Siberia and the Far East, in 1982, 1986, 1987 and 1990, though the trophy has gone elsewhere in recent seasons.
Natalya Tsuprik coached the side for thirty-two years, from 1992 to late 2024; Vadim Kiryanov took over for 2025/26, with Olga Kravchenko as captain. The hall on Leningradskaya Street holds 230 spectators, a long way from Russia's volleyball centres.
