In the spring of 2018 Minchanka arrived in Eczacıbaşı's back yard for a CEV Cup final and left with the runner-up medal after a fight, having got there by knocking out Uralochka and Allianz MTV Stuttgart along the way.

The team traces back to 1994 and the Republican College of Olympic Reserve, entering the top league two years later under the name Morita. It changed hands and shirts more than once after that — a stint as Belbiznesbank-BGEU among them — before settling into the VC Minsk structure in 2006 and taking the name it plays under now.

Olga Palchevskaya's name runs through the club twice over, first as captain on court and later from the bench as coach, while Anna Shevchenko's MVP season in 2009/10 still gets mentioned when the conversation turns to who set the standard.
