Wohnbau Dietach

The 2024/25 season brought Dietach the biggest prize in its history: the OÖ-Liga title, Upper Austria's top regional division, taken outright and worth a first-ever place in the Regionalliga Nord, the third tier of Austrian football. The club appears under more than one name — Wohnbau Dietach, Union Procon Dietach, Union Dietach — depending on who is paying for the shirt, but no earlier season had given any of them a title to put on it.

Promotion took an amateur, part-time squad two divisions above where it had spent most of its history, and the gap showed itself almost at once. Paired with RB Salzburg in the first round of the ÖFB-Cup, Dietach found no answer and went out 0:4.

Green and black are the club's colours, and matches at home are played at the DietachArena, in front of a crowd that can run to around 3,000.

Little of that was in view in 1973, when a club called USV Dietach first took the field. Official registers list 25 May 2021 as the date the current structure was formed, under the name Union Dietach, but the club has never counted that as its birth — the record it recognises still begins in 1973.
