About the player
After coming through the youth ranks at Santos, São Paulo and Athletico Paranaense, he was farmed out on loan to Guaratinguetá and Brasília before spells at Santa Cruz and Cianorte, and it was only in the second half of 2018, at Ponte Preta, that his career took shape: 11 goals in 35 appearances in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B made him the club's top scorer that season.
He won the Campeonato Paulista with Corinthians in January 2019. At Fortaleza he lifted the Copa do Nordeste. In South Korea with Daejeon Hana Citizen he had his best individual campaign, scoring 14 goals in 29 K League 2 matches. The deal fell through when the Korean club failed to pay the agreed fee, a dispute that also left him registered with Shanghai Shenhua without ever taking the field for them, before he returned to Brazil.
Further loans followed, to Atlético Goianiense and then Cuiabá, where he won the Campeonato Mato-Grossense in 2022. With Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in 2023, he made 13 appearances before he went back to Cuiabá on a permanent deal in 2024, staying until April 2025. He signed for Vila Nova as a free agent in May 2025, on a contract running to November 2026, and now wears the number 7 shirt as a left-footed forward.
