Rangers de Talca

Three trips back to the top flight define what winning has meant for Rangers de Talca: the club took the Primera B title in 1988, 1993 and 1997, each one a return ticket to Chile's elite division. The nearest it came to something bigger was in 1969, when it finished second in the Primera División, and again in 2002, when a run through the Torneo Apertura ended in the final against Universidad Católica. A Copa Chile final followed in 1996, lost to Colo-Colo.

Games are played at the Estadio Fiscal de Talca, known locally as "El cementerio de elefantes," rebuilt between 2017 and 2019 to hold 16,070. The older nickname, Los Rojinegros, comes simply from the red and black stripes on the shirt.
