Lucas Ramon

Right-back Lucas Ramon arrived at São Paulo FC in February 2026 by turning down a rival before he ever sat down with them: Corinthians made an offer, and he chose São Paulo instead. Getting him out of Mirassol was not straightforward either. His contract there ran until May 2026, and when the club demanded compensation for an early release, Ramon waived the salary and benefits he was still owed to resolve the dispute and force the move through.

The path to that point had already carried him through most of Brazil's football map. He started out at Londrina, breaking into the first team in 2013 and winning the Campeonato Paranaense the following year without holding down a regular starting spot. A move to Grêmio in 2015 was followed almost immediately by a loan to Santa Cruz, where he collected the Copa do Nordeste and the Campeonato Pernambucano. Back at Londrina from 2016, he added the Primeira Liga in 2017, then joined Red Bull Bragantino in 2019 and won the Série B title.

Spells at Coritiba, Cuiabá and two loan returns to Grêmio Novorizontino followed. It was at Cuiabá that he won the Campeonato Mato-Grossense in 2021. Mirassol became the more settled chapter from 2023: he helped the club up into Série A, took a brief detour to Sport Recife for seven matches in early 2024 before returning that April, and stayed through the 2025 season as Mirassol qualified for the Copa Libertadores.

He has not been called up to Brazil's senior national side.
