Club YLA

Club YLA trains and plays at Sportpark Aalter as the women's side of Club Brugge KV, though the arrangement is younger than it looks: the team began in 2000 as the women's division of KSV Jabbeke, only linking up with Club Brugge in 2010 and passing fully into the men's club a year later.

The current name dates to April 2020, when the club dropped the generic "Club Brugge Dames" tag and took the name YLA, after Yvonne Lahousse, a Club Brugge supporter from the 1960s known on the terraces as Vonne van de Spionkop. The blue and black kit, shared with the parent club, gives the side its nickname, De Blauw-Zwarte.

The academy supplies roughly half the first-team squad, among them Amy Littel, Sterre Gielen and Jorijn Covent. The clearest mark of progress came in the 2023/24 season, when Club YLA won the Belgian Women's Cup, beating Oud-Heverlee Leuven 1-1 after extra time and 4-2 on penalties — after finishing runners-up in the same competition in 2013/14 and 2014/15.

Derby day against Cercle Brugge Ladies carries the city's old rivalry into the women's game. A league title, though, has so far eluded Club YLA.
