Harper and Knueppel debut-patch cards sell at auction for records
Dylan Harper's card went for $2.88 million and Kon Knueppel's for $2.34 million, both records, among seven NBA card sales above $2 million this year.
Debut-patch cards of San Antonio guard Dylan Harper and Charlotte forward Kon Knueppel have sold at auction for $2.88 million and $2.34 million respectively.
Both prices are records for cards of those players.
They are the latest of seven sales this year of NBA cards for more than $2 million. The most expensive of the seven was a Cooper Flagg debut-patch card, which went for $8 million.
If sales at that level keep coming at this rate, a $2 million price for a top debut-patch card may stop being an exception.
