Caroline Delisle

She left the University of Central Florida as the record holder for career shutouts at the school, with 31 across 77 appearances, a haul that came with back-to-back American Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Year awards in 2021 and 2022 and two AAC First Team selections.

She found steadier ground in Sweden. Signing with IFK Norrköping in September 2024, DeLisle made six appearances that year and kept two clean sheets, then built on it in 2025 with thirteen appearances and four shutouts before leaving the club at the end of the season.

The move to Houston Dash in January 2026 finally put her on an NWSL roster on a full contract rather than a stopgap one, and she made her debut on 20 May, coming on as a second-half substitute for the injured Jane Campbell in a 2–2 draw. The opponent that day was San Diego Wave, the club that had released her without a match to her name less than two years earlier.

Long before any of that, DeLisle's game was shaped at Paul R. Wharton High School in Tampa, where she still holds the saves record and was named MVP as a sophomore.
