About the player
Edson's route to Remo ran through three countries. He came up through Alecrim before a loan at Vitória and a season with Globo, then joined Bahia, where he won the Campeonato Baiano in 2020 and the Copa do Nordeste in 2021. In January 2022 he left Brazil for Rukh Lviv in Ukraine, a move that opened a stretch of loans away from the club that signed him: back to Brazil with Atlético Goianiense, then to Mexico with Club Juárez between 2023 and 2025.
He returned to Ukraine in January 2026 on a permanent transfer to Karpaty Lviv and made 20 appearances in the 2025/2026 season. On 1 July 2026 he moved to Remo on loan from Karpaty until the end of the season, with a purchase option attached.
Edson featured as Remo won in Série A away to Vitória.
He has not been called up by the Brazilian national team.
