K. Harper

Khyah Harper arrived at Houston Dash as a forward whose senior career started remarkably late. She spent four years at the University of Minnesota before turning professional, and it was there that she made her name, closing her college days with a senior season of 17 goals that earned her the Big Ten Forward of the Year award and a First-Team All-Big Ten selection in 2024. She also turned out for Salvo SC in the WPSL, where she took the league's Golden Boot in 2024.

NJ/NY Gotham FC signed her on a free transfer in January 2025, and although her tally there of three goals in 25 appearances was modest next to her college numbers, the team success was not: Harper won the 2025 NWSL Championship and followed it with the 2026 NWSL Challenge Cup. On the back of that, Houston Dash moved for her on a free transfer in July 2026.

Internationally, Harper has yet to add senior caps for the USWNT, though she has been on the American radar since her youth days, having been part of the Puma Trophy Team at the 2019 U17 World Cup.

At Houston, Harper wears a left foot and a slight frame that stand in contrast to the physical demands often placed on forwards, but her scoring record at both college and amateur level suggests a player who has consistently found the net whenever given a settled run in a team.
