L. Ullmark

Linda Ullmark's route to football began far from where she grew up: between the ages of two and twelve, while her family lived in Okinawa, Japan, she played for local clubs Brasil and Madrid before the family settled in Buffalo, New York. There she attended The Nichols School and played for the Western New York Flash in the Elite Clubs National League, earning All-Conference honours and being named New York Gatorade Girls' Soccer Player of the Year in both 2022 and 2023.

She carried that form into college. As a freshman at North Carolina in 2024, Ullmark was the only first-year player to start all 27 games, helping the Tar Heels win the NCAA Division I Championship. In her sophomore season she was named a Fourth-Team All-American and Third-Team All-ACC, leading the team with eight assists. Alongside her college career, she also turned out for FC Buffalo in the USL W League over two summers, scoring four goals in five appearances.

Internationally, Ullmark has represented the United States at youth level, earning a cap for the U-19s in 2024 before stepping up to the U-20s in 2025. At the CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship she scored twice and set up two more goals in four games, form that earned her a place in the tournament's Best XI.

Houston Dash signed her in January 2026 on a four-year contract, making her the club's first recruit from that North Carolina championship side. The move paid off quickly: by July 2026 she had been named NWSL Rookie of the Month after producing two goals and two assists.
