Borac Zemun

Borac Zemun's cup run in 2021-22 ended with an 86-79 win over Radnički Kragujevac, and the second-tier Cup of Serbia went back to Zemun as a result, opening a route into that season's Radivoj Korać Cup. It came only twelve years after the club existed at all.

The team did not start out as its own entity. It was set up in April 2009 as a farm side for KK Mladost Zemun, playing under the name ZKK Mladost 2009 before splitting off from its parent club in 2014 and taking the name Borac Zemun. That break also created the rivalry that now defines the club locally: Mladost Zemun sits across the table as the team it grew out of, alongside KK Zemun as the other side from the same part of Belgrade.

Promotion followed the cup win rather than preceding it. A second-place finish in the Second Basketball League of Serbia in 2023-24 lifted Borac Zemun into the top-tier Basketball League of Serbia for the first time, and the club finished seventh in that debut top-flight season. Among the players who have worn the shirt, Đukan Đukanović stands out for having been named MVP of the Serbian First League twice, while the club's academy already has a name attached to it in Matija Stamenić.

Games are played at Pinki Hall in Zemun, a venue holding 2,300 for basketball, under colours of blue, white, orange and fluorescent green that give the club a look distinct from the two sides it shares the district with.
