«Asta»
Sisu Arena opened on Toruńska Street in September 2014, built for that year's World Volleyball Championship rather than for basketball; Astoria Bydgoszcz plays its home games in a venue designed for another sport. In 2022 the arena took its current name after CMT Polska won a sponsorship contest.
The club has never carried that arena into the top flight for long. Astoria's best season in the Basket Liga ended in sixth place, back in 2004/05, and the club dropped out of the top division again in 2022/23. What it has done instead is win the second-tier I Liga four times — in 1988/89, 2002/03, 2018/19 and 2025/26. A European run in 1992, in the Korać Cup, ended after the first round when the club withdrew for lack of money.
