Eltmann

The 2. Bundesliga South was won in 2017/18 under the name Heitec Volleys Eltmann, then again in 2023/24 as VC Eltmann, with a 3. Liga Ost championship in between, in 2022/23, marking the climb back up.

That climb started from the top down. Playing as SG Eschenbacher Eltmann, the club spent six seasons in the 1. Bundesliga, reaching the CEV Cup in 2006 and the semi-finals of the DVV-Pokal in 2007/08. When the licence was lost, the volleyball department broke away from the old multi-sport club SG Eltmann, itself dating back to 1866, and re-formed as an independent body, VC 2010 Eltmann e. V., starting again from a lower division under its own name.

The club has since changed its name more than once — Heitec Volleys, Oshino Volleys, now Ceratonia Volleys Eltmann — sponsorship shifts that leave the red and white unchanged underneath.
