The Kaposvár Aréna holds 3,000 people, and it is where Kaposvári KK have played through the club's best years and the harder ones alike.
The club settled on Kaposvári KK in 2003. The club dropped out of the top flight in 1994, came straight back in 1996, and has stayed in the NB I A since.
The years worth remembering are 2001 to 2004. Kaposvár won the Hungarian league title in 2000–01, lost that season's Magyar Kupa final, then turned it around in 2003–04 by taking both the league and the cup, with a runner-up league finish sandwiched between. In Europe the same generation reached third place in what was then the FIBA EuroCup Challenge. Gordan Filipović ran through most of that stretch, arriving in 1992, leaving briefly, and returning in time to see the double.
