NKA Pécs

Rátgéber Kosárlabda Akadémia Alapítvány set up the club on 1 September 2019 as a foundation.

In 2022/2023 the men's team won the NB I/B Piros group, beating PVSK-Veolia 3-2 in the final series, and stepped up to the top-tier NB I/A for 2023/2024, where they finished sixth and reached the Magyar Kupa semi-finals before settling for fourth place overall.

It plays as NKA Universitas Pécs but traces back to PEAC-Pécs, re-formed in 2012 after Pécs 2010, the club once known as MiZo Pécs, folded — a side that had collected eleven Hungarian championships and two EuroLeague Women bronze medals.

Both teams are tied closely to the University of Pécs, and both play in blue and white at the Nemzeti Kosárlabda Akadémia Fűzy Ákos Centerpálya, a 1,400-seat hall in Pécs.
