Rivne

Four men started it: Viktor Pryshchepa, Andriy Matushevych, Volodymyr Nechyporchuk and the coach Serhiy Shemosiuk. In 1993 they set up BC Pulsar in Rivne. It played as Pulsar-RAES in 1996–97 and then as BC-93 Pulsar until 2016. That year it merged with the Regional School of Higher Sports Mastery and became Rivne-OShVSM. On 7 June 2017 it was reorganised and took its present name, BC Rivne.

The first title came in the Pulsar years. BC-93 Pulsar won the Higher League in 1999/00. The next came 23 years later, when Rivne won it under its own name in 2022/23. Between those two, the club reached the Ukrainian Cup final in 2001/02.

The years since promotion have brought a run of finals and semi-finals, most of them against one opponent. Dnipro beat Rivne in the SuperLeague final of 2023/24 and again in the Ukrainian Cup final of 2024/25. In 2025/26 Rivne took bronze by getting past Kharkiv Sokoly. The 2021/22 SuperLeague season was cut short by the war and produced no champion. The local rival is Staryi Lutsk, and their meetings are known as the Volyn Derby.

The men's team has recently played as BC Rivne-Dream, after a partnership with the American organisation Dubois Dream. The club's women's side won the Higher League in 2024/25. Home games are played at the DYUSSh-4 sports complex on Fabrychna Street.

Among the players, Yevhen Brechko has the most unusual record: he won a world championship in 3x3 deaf basketball. Dmytro Tymoshchuk is the men's captain, and Mykhailo Pereverziy is the head coach.
