«Stariy Lutsk»
The name means Old Lutsk, and the club wore the city's oldest landmark on its badge: a golden Volodymyr Castle and a basketball on a dark purple shield. Founded in 2017, it made its Superleague debut in 2017/18, the top tier. In 2018 it won the First League, beating Vynnytski Zubry in the final.
In 2022 the club won the Higher League to earn promotion back to the top flight. It never won the Superleague or the main Ukrainian Cup.
The 3x3 side, playing as Prombudsfera , won the national 3x3 championship in 2018 and again in 2021, and it reached the 3x3 Ukrainian Cup final in 2023 and took silver.
Rivalries kept the fixtures sharp. Politekhnika-Halytchyna of Lviv made for what the club called a principled derby. Against BC Rivne it was the Volyn Derby. Home games were played at the Volyn Regional Children and Youth Sports School.
The end came in the 2025/26 season, when the club finished last in the Superleague. In June 2026 it rebranded as BC Volyn, and the Stariy Lutsk chapter was closed.
