Temp Sumz Revda

The Temp Sports Complex holds about 500 people, which is small for a side that has won the Russian Super League. It sits in Revda, a Sverdlovsk Oblast town built around the Middle-Uralian Copper-Smelting Plant, and the club came out of that plant's factory team. Local basketball goes back to 1986, when Sergey Gubin was coaching it. In 1999 the plant's team and the sports complex were joined into one club, Temp-SUMZ.

In 2015 the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company (UGMK) became the sponsor and its initials went into the title. The club played as Temp-SUMZ-UGMK for nine seasons. In 2024 sanctions forced UGMK out of the name and the club went back to Temp-SUMZ.

The team took silver in the Super League in 2015/16, then finished third in 2017/18, 2018/19, 2020/21 and 2021/22. The Russian Cup was won in 2020/21, and another final was lost in 2021/22. The league title came in 2024/25, the first season after the name reverted. Bronze followed in 2025/26.

The rivalry that matters is with Uralmash Ekaterinburg. Matches between the two are called the Ural Derby, or the Sverdlovsk Derby.

Anton Glazunov captained the side in 2016/17 and later earned a place among the All-Stars of the VTB United League.
