Ali Akman

Ali Akman came through the youth ranks at İnegölspor before joining Bursaspor, where he signed his first professional contract in August 2018 and made his senior debut the following year. His breakthrough came in the 2020–21 season, when he finished as the club's top scorer in the TFF First League with 10 goals in 18 appearances. Bursaspor terminated his contract by mutual agreement in March 2021, a decision the club later criticised as unethical given a transfer ban in place at the time.

That opened the door to Germany, where Akman signed for Eintracht Frankfurt on a free transfer in July 2021. Loan spells shaped his development instead: at NEC Nijmegen he scored six goals in 28 Eredivisie appearances and was named the competition's Young Player of the Month in September 2021, while a subsequent loan at Göztepe brought 14 appearances without a goal. His market value peaked at €3.7 million in July 2022.

Akman then moved into a run of shorter stints, joining FCV Dender EH in Belgium on a free transfer in August 2023 and scoring seven goals in 23 appearances there over two seasons, before a January 2025 switch to Çorum FK on a two-and-a-half-year contract, where he added two goals in 16 games. He joined Ankara Keçiörengücü in the summer of 2025 on a three-year deal, taking the number 9 shirt.

At youth international level, Akman represented Turkey from under-15 to under-21, and was top scorer at the 2018 Viktor Bannikov Tournament with the under-17s, scoring three goals in four matches as Turkey reached the final. He has since collected 11 caps and one goal for the under-21 side.
