About the player
Aleksandr Osipov left Viktoriya Kolomna as a boy, passed through the UOR #5 academy in Yegoryevsk and joined Arsenal Tula's youth set-up, turning senior there before a free move to Veles Moscow in July 2019. That switch brought his first honour, the Second League (Zone West) title in 2019/20.
The bigger step came in February 2022, when Baltika Kaliningrad signed him. A Silver Medal finish in the First League in 2022/23 secured promotion to the Russian Premier League, and Baltika went on to reach the Russian Cup final in 2023/24. Osipov added another First League Championship with the club in 2024/25 before leaving on a free transfer to PFC Sochi in the summer of 2025.
At Sochi he wears the number five shirt and operates as a defensive midfielder. He made six appearances in the Russian Premier League in the 2025/26 season, and in the following First League campaign he has already added 11 appearances and three goals. He has not been capped by Russia at senior level. In 2025 he was awarded the title of Master of Sports of Russia.
