Alexandru Roshka

Alexandru Roșca spent three years on Dinamo București's books before he ever kicked a ball for them in a senior league match — the wait wasn't at Dinamo, but at UTA Arad, where he was registered with the first team from 2021 to 2024 without a single league appearance. His football education instead came out on loan, at Crișul Chișineu-Criș and Progresul Pecica before he settled at 1599 Șelimbăr, first on loan and then, from July 2023, on a permanent contract. It was at Șelimbăr that he finally became a regular, playing 28 league games in the 2023/24 season.

That run of matches persuaded Dinamo București to sign him in the summer of 2024, in a deal reported at €100,000. He did not have to wait long for his chance in Bucharest: an injury to the club's first-choice goalkeeper opened the door, and Roșca stepped in as Dinamo's starter in Liga I. His performances drew some attention in the Romanian press, including a mention in ProSport's Team of the Round after one match.

Roșca was born in Iași and came through the youth ranks at Gloria Arad before moving into the UTA Arad academy as a teenager. On the international stage, he has earned one cap for Romania's under-21 side, as of March 2025, though he has yet to be called into the senior national team.
