About the player
Altin Ujkani came back to Start in March 2024, two years after leaving for Fløy. The contract he signed ran until the end of that season, and no transfer fee was reported. For a defender from Kristiansand, it was a return to the club where his senior career had begun.
His route into football went through two local clubs. From 2012 to 2018 he played in the youth teams at Våg FK. In 2018 he moved to the Start academy, where he stayed until 2020. He made his senior debut for Start in the 2020–2021 period.
In 2022 he left for Fløy, another club in the Kristiansand area, and played there until early 2024. That spell covers most of the time he spent away from Start.
Ujkani is a left-footed left-back, and he plays for Start in the Eliteserien. He is Norwegian. The two clubs he has played for since leaving Våg are both in the Kristiansand area, and Start is the one he has now joined twice.
