About the player
Artem Biryukov arrived at Arsenal Tula in June 2026 on loan from Rodina Moscow, an agreement that runs until 30 June 2027. He has since made six appearances in the First League and one in the Cup.
His route to that point was built in the lower divisions. Biryukov came through the FC Krasnodar academy, then joined the Rodina system in 2023 and started in Rodina-3 in the Second League. A year later he moved up to Rodina-2, where he became a regular starter.
The 2025 and 2026 seasons with Rodina-2 brought the most in silverware. The side won the Second League Division A championship in 2025 and again in 2026, and Biryukov scored twice in each of those campaigns. Over the 2025/2026 season he also handed a debut, of sorts, at the senior level: he played four times for the main Rodina squad in the First League.
That handful of first-team games was enough for Arsenal to take an interest. The loan gives him a place in a First League squad.
He has not yet won a trophy or an individual award with Arsenal.
